Co-op’s 2021 Virtual Work Experience

We are excited to get in touch to let you know about Co-op’s 2021 Virtual Work Experience! This is an amazing opportunity for young people in Year 10-13, to help provide insight and understanding around careers and skills, supporting their career readiness and employability.

Co-op are hosting 80 sessions over 5 weeks which participants can sign up to as few or as many sessions as they’d like. The sessions cover:

  • Insight sessions into 18 different industries and sectors within Co-op
  • Insights to careers with their suppliers and some of the biggest international brands including Microsoft, ITV & Kellogg’s
  • Bitesize workshops on understanding apprenticeships, nailing the application process and a skills session focused on ‘making decisions about your future’
  • Diversity & Inclusion sessions too, hosted by Co-op’s diversity network groups

The Virtual Experiences will be hosted on Microsoft Teams and will be recorded and sent out following the session to those who’ve registered.

Co-op encourages registration from teachers for whole class groups, as well as participants signing up as individuals.

There’s no application process, just a couple of questions for participants/educators to answer to register – all details will be sent out 1 week prior to the sessions.
