Summer Residentials
The following summer residentials are upcoming:
Discover Bath – a free event for Year 12 students from Widening Participation backgrounds to experience university study and find out about life at university. These residentials take place from Monday 1 to Thursday 4 August for Science and Engineering and Monday 8 to Thursday 11 August for Social Sciences and Management & Business subjects Applications for Discover Bath 2022 are open and will close as and when subjects are full.
Sports Summer School – A sports-focused residential for Year 12 students to experience the University’s sports programmes and studying at Bath as a high-performance athlete. This residential will take place from Wednesday 27 July to Friday 29 July.
Autism summer school – for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who have completed Year 11 and are about to transition to Post-16 destinations. This summer school will take place from Friday 5 to Saturday 6 August. Please let your students know about these activities as it is a great opportunity for them to get a taste of student life at Bath.
Step into Bath is a 2-night residential summer school for Year 12 students who are on track to meet our typical offer and who are considering applying to Bath for 2023 entry. You will stay in campus accommodation and attend interactive sessions to help you make a competitive university application, as well as academic skills sessions to prepare you for the transition to university study. There is an attendance fee of £200 which covers all accommodation, food and activities.
