Curriculum
In Creative Design (Brief Based Media) you will achieve a qualification in Graphic Design that is heavily focused around real world briefs and scenarios. It will give you a deep look into the working practices of creatives and Art as well as an opportunity to expand your own practice, skills, and knowledge of the world of Creative Design.
Progression
The OCR Technical Level 3 in Art and Design (2012): Graphic Design is equivalent to 1 A-level. This combined with other qualifications will allow a student to progress to university, whilst also providing a portfolio of work to move into an apprenticeship, work or even independent business.

Additional Entry Requirements
Grade 4 in any Art, Design or Photography GCSE with a portfolio interview.
Assessment
100% internally assessed over 6 modules, grades ranging from Pass, Merit, Distinction and Distinction*.
Opportunities for work related activities
Work experience with local practitioners and trips to local working businesses within the industry.
