Year 11 Prom 2025
We are delighted to provide you with details of the ‘Class of 2025 Prom’.
Date: Wednesday 2nd July 2025
Time: Arrive from 7.00pm – until 11.15pm
Venue: Batch Country House, Batch Lane, WSM, BS24 0EX
Cost: £40
To secure your child’s place, a non-refundable deposit of £20 is required by Friday 31st January. This needs to be paid for via the Academy’s online payment system, ParentPay, if you require a ParentPay login, please email [email protected] or contact the office. The full total of £40 must be paid by Monday 31st March at the latest.

- Deposit £20 – paid by Friday 31st January
- 1st instalment £10 – paid by Friday 28th February
- Final instalment £10 – paid by Monday 31st March
Please ensure that the ‘permission slip’ box is ticked in ParentPay to confirm that you are happy for your child to attend the event and to be photographed on arrival at The Batch Country House.
There will be a photographer available on the night taking professional photographs which students will be able to order and purchase on the night. There is also a bar where soft drinks can be purchased.
Attendance at prom is a privilege and students are expected to maintain high behavioural standards and attendance throughout the year to attend. Students and parents will be notified individually if we have any concerns which could lead to this privilege being removed.
Prom is an amazing opportunity for us to come together and celebrate the students’ achievements and graduating Year 11. What a way to finish a challenging year and have your last experience with the year group. Don’t miss out!
WHA Leavers Hoodies – Class of 2025
To commemorate the students time at Winterstoke Hundred Academy, the school will be organising the sale of a leaver’s hoodie.
The hoodie is available in a choice of colours and will have the name of the school and the year the student finished at Winterstoke. We will be using Boomerang Education to purchase the hoodies.
For your child to display their name on the back of the hoodie, I do require your permission. Please can I ask you to complete the form below (scan the QR code with your photo app on your phone). Your child’s name will not appear on the back of the hoody without this form being completed. Please can this be completed by 24th January.
To order the hoodie, you must order from the online shop using the QR code below. The cost of the hoodie will be £22.50. Having a nickname printed on the back is included in the price. This online shop will close on Monday 3rd February and no additional purchases will be possible after this date.
Students will receive their hoodies during Term 4, depending on the length of time it takes the company to produce them. I will update you during this process.
Students will be allowed to wear these hoodies from this point until the end of the academic year. However, it is important to note that they are only able to wear these leavers hoodies and no other items of clothing which are not included in our uniform policy.

In addition, we have our year group photo available to purchase. Please use the QR code below to view and make any purchases. Please note that the deadline to purchase is Sunday 5th January.
Year 11 Period 7 Sessions
In Term 3, we will have some additional sessions running for some students, running 3pm until 3:50pm. These Period 7 sessions are bespoken for students, in small groups, to further support them in the run up to their next set of PPEs, which will start towards the end of the next half term. It is important that they attend these sessions to ensure they are successful in their GCSEs this year. Please check ClassCharts at the start of next term to view the updated timetables to see if your child has a session.
