Winterstoke Hundred hosts inspiring Pathways Day
Year 9 students at Winterstoke Hundred Academy were given an exciting opportunity to explore new subjects during a dedicated Pathways Day, designed to support them in making informed decisions ahead of their upcoming GCSE option choices.
Throughout the day, students took part in engaging taster sessions across a variety of subjects, including health and social care, sport science, dance, travel and tourism, business, statistics, and creative imedia. Each session aimed to give students a feel for the content, expectations, and potential career pathways linked to each subject.
Claire Kelly, Assistant Principal, said: “The Pathways Day is all about helping our students make confident and informed choices for their future.
“By giving them a hands-on experience with these subjects, we’re equipping them with the knowledge to choose options that align with their interests and strengths.”
